I have been telling you the story of Kai, but one of my friends really said it much better than I ever could. Her name is Sharon Messina. Not only is she a fantastic well known DJ but she worked tirelessly for the victims of Hurricane Sandy driving trucks full of supplies back and forth from Rehoboth to New Jersey! She is my hero….

What does it take to help someone in need? I have found out just this week when a friend’s 3 month old puppy was attacked by a dog she was fostering. It was a viscious attack that snapped the baby’s face. She had emergency reconstructive surgery but they were unable to save the jaw bone. Little Kai is back home but she has a long recovery ahead and her mommy faces large vet bills. When I found out about the gofundme website I setup a page to accept donations on their behalf. In one day we collected over $1100. But we can’t stop here. We can do more, we can do better.
The fact there is a place where we can all go to help someone is pretty cool. I have seen some incredible stories on the site. If you have not visited the site, please do. My hope is to collect at least $5.00 from all of you. Surely you can spare $5.00. The cost of a Grande Mocha at Starbucks. I am doing my part, will you? This is what we do best, help people when they need it. Kai needs your help to get better and her mommy needs your help to be able to afford to pay the vet.
As a dog owner I never want to face the decision of not being able to afford to take care of my baby. I know you must feel the same way. Please take a moment of your time, and that is all it takes. In 5 minutes you can help Kai and her mommy and feel pretty good about yourself too!

I have been watching the trial of #JodiArias the past week and it got me thinking. Jane Velez Mitchel and Nancy Grace talk about the sex information that has come up like they have never done something kinky in their lives. Jane said it made 50 Shades of Gray look like a children’s story book! LOL, well I have read all three novels and I guarantee you that what Jodi has testified to doesn’t even come close to steamy. Isn’t that really what sex is? It’s all kinky, sweaty, body parts in places, up down all around lol. But it is not like what has come up so far is anything unusual. The point is a man is dead. If being spanked with a belt or hit with a wooden spoon, or having people cheat on you is the excuse for murder these days, then I am in big trouble! LOL.
The real question is, if you kill someone in self defense, why lie about it. Bottom line…that’s it. If it is justified, then call the cops and let them sort it all out. If it took 29 stabs with a knife, a slit throat and a gunshot to the face to defend yourself, so be it.
It appears to me to be a jealous fit, pre-arranged and thought out, executed, denied, admitted and now we bring on the #caseyanthony defense.

man... you sure are singing my life with your words! I was unemployed for six months, and it was maddening. When I started working again, I had 2 part time jobs that ballooned into 60 hour weeks. And I STILL didn't make 30K! I thought like you - is it me? Did I just pull the a-hole ticket in life? But I'm realizing that it has nothing to do with that. The world is oversaturated. The key is being authentic. And NEVER give up. I promise you - It WILL come together. Keep at it, lady!

I figure there isn’t one thing in my life that someone else hasn’t gone thru or is going thru but just like a song resinates and expresses our feelings, this blog sometimes helps me as if I were sitting in a coffee shop talking with friends!
